Did You Treat Your Child with Respect Today?

I wanted to share that before I went ahead with this blog, I got Deena’s consent. My idea is not to humiliate her in any way or to reveal her weaknesses, as that would be a betrayal as a parent of a special needs child.

My intention is to help other parent’s have an easier experience with their special needs children and shorten their process of frustration. I have learned so much over my 21 years of parenting, and my experience as an Expressive Therapist has given me many wonderful tools that simply help to make parenting a lot smoother.

So have a look at this clip to see how our quick sign language seals the deal!

Are You Looking for Help with Your Special Need Child?

jpeg of caro portrait experoimentos 150x150 Are You Looking for Help with Your Special Need Child?Hello from me, Caroline Gaibel, mother to 5 kids from a variety of backgrounds ranging in age from 10 to 20.

There is so much reading material out there on the internet about general information for parents of children with challenges, but that can be somewhat dry and impersonal.

What I am offering is a window into my world of parenting my “Special Needs” daughter with a multitude of tips that use my skills as experienced parent, teacher and expressive therapist.

You’ll get to watch clips of events in our lives where things go wrong and how I handle them. This is more than regular parenting tips…this is for those parents who constantly experience their children having frustrations, meltdowns, angry fits, confused and unfocused behavior….and that’s just the tip of the ice-berg.

Come and join me on this journey and together we’ll help our children to attain balance and calm.

Please leave a comment if there is a particular area you would like me to touch on……
